Rishabh Raj is a Bollywood actor from Bokaro, Jharkhand. He did his schooling at Holy Cross School in Bokaro. During his school days, he had taken part in a lot of competitions in dance and drama. Rishabh Raj is an emerging young Bollywood actor from Jharkhand (bokaro ) who is appreciated for his work in TV serials like the buddy project , v distraction ,Arjun , big fame star, quickly he started getting Hindi movies , his first Hindi movie was Jhansi KI Rani (parallel lead - role of Nana sahib Peshwa ) released all India in limited theaters , his second movie Phir Aaya Satte Pe Satta was again in parallel lead where he got an opportunity to showcase his martial arts skill , this movie got released all India on 18th august 2017. In Dil Dosti Dance, he made a cameo appearance as a choreographer and a College Student. He had also appeared in a guest role in It’s Complicated on Channel V. He took part in the show V Distraction on Channel V as a contestant and won the show. He had been a contestant in Big Magic’s Big Fame Star and MTV’s MTV Elevator Pitch.
Before entering the industry, he received acting training from Bhartiya Natya Shikshapeeth for two years and the acting academy, Actor Prepares, run by Anupam Kher. There he got 3 months of training in a full-time course. The Buddy Project Season 3 is a serial in which, he played a parallel lead for 50+ episodes that were telecast for 6 months. He had also played in the Star Plus serial, Arjun and a Sony Marathi series, Garja Maharashtra, as a British Officer. To play in the film, Jhansi Ki Rani Laxmibai, Rishabh learned horse riding. He played the role, Nana Saheb Peshwa. Rishabh had also been a part of Phir Aaya Satte Pe Satta, where he was seen as one of the leads. Rishabh was also seen as Bhagat Singh in the film, Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azaad. Rishabh Raj got his training in dance from Shaimak Davar. Rishab’s short films are Assam Violence, Smoking Kills and 15 Year Doll. He had also played in a lot of plays, including The Ghost Train, a Hindi play, Dhari Lo Ke Tame Manji Chhe, a Gujarati play and an Urdu play named, Azaban Naar.
