Indian singer KK dies aged 53 after falling ill while performing
The postmortem report of Bollywood singer KK (Krishna Kumar Kunnath) has arrived. In this, the cause of his death has been given as natural ie cardiac arrest. The report said that the condition of his liver and lungs was also critical. KK's postmortem was done at SSKM Hospital in Kolkata. Born on 23 August 1968 in Delhi, the famous playback singer Krishna Kumar Kunnath is popularly known as KK in the industry. He has sung songs not only in Hindi but also for other language films including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati. KK sang around 3,500 jingles before he got his break in films.

Earlier in Kolkata, he was paid tribute with state honors. Other family members including his wife Jyoti Krishna, son Nakul and daughter Tamara were also present on the occasion. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also reached Rabindra Sadan in Kolkata and paid his last respects to the dead body of KK. He also met his family members and consoled them.
KK performed in a live concert at Nazrul Manch Auditorium in Kolkata on Tuesday. After the performance, he reached the hotel, where his health deteriorated. He was immediately taken to the nearby CMRI (Kolkata Medical Research Institute) hospital. But he died before reaching the hospital. It is also being said in some reports that he had a head injury. At the same time, a case of unnatural death of Singer has been registered at New Market Police Station in Kolkata. The police have said that they will examine the CCTV footage of the concert.

Many celebs including actor Akshay Kumar, singer Armaan Malik, actress Sonal Chauhan and Munmun Dutta have expressed grief over his death. The country has lost two singers including KK during the performance in the last two days.
