Mumbai Police Band Plays 'Rang Barse' Song, Impresses Internet
The video showing Mumbai Police’s band known as Khaki Studio performing a rendition of the song Rang Barse, Amitabh banchan song, was posted on Social Media. Mumbai Police posted the video on their official social media channel. The Khaki Studio first became famous in August last year, when they paid tribute to noted English singer-composer Monty Norman.The Mumbai police band now consists of 102 instrumentalists and two assistant band masters, led by police inspector and bandmaster Sanjay Kalyani, 42, who retired from the Indian Navy after a 15-year career in the Navy Band. “Musical Representation of Shrivalli by Mumbai Police Band,” they wrote.
