Reyansh Sharma - an emerging face of Indian cinema
Reyansh Sharma, a model and actor who not only got Grasim Mr. India Top finalist title. He was born with the name Pankaj Sharma in Delhi in a joint family which is full of emotions, tradition and culture. We all used to live together happily. Like others my parents were my first teachers who nourished and raised me with all family values, respect for elders and enlightened me with spiritual guidance. My schooling was done in a convent school, my entire childhood went participating in all curricular activities out of which dance and acting was and is my favorite. I was the first to be called for any dance competition and Ramji has always blessed me with success and won many prizes performing on different stages and platform. So yes you can say I am a good dancer and beats of music runs in my blood and veins. I remember when I finished my 9th standard my father took me to a gym as he always wanted me to have a great body and he himself was quite a fitness freak. Two things happened that day, first I was introduced to gym and second I saw the poster of Diwaker Pundir as Grasim Mr. India. When I saw that poster I was mesmerized by the look of the poster , Title and the man itself and I decided to become part of it one day when my time comes. My mother was a huge Milind Soman fan and she always wanted me to have that personality, since then he became my idol. During my growth I was always motivated by everyone to do modeling and dance. Eventually I developed my great interest in the field of entertainment. My father made me join grooming classes , he made great sacrifices as it was quite expensive , there I trained myself for ramp walk , theater activities , yoga , dance and singing . During the last year of my Engineering I went to attend fashion week where I got my first break shoot for Versace it was so motivating after which I just could not stop myself to explore more. In 2007 I happened to see newspaper where there was a form calling for Grasim Mr. India entries , I registered my self and sent my normal pictures . Surprisingly got selected for auditions and finally got selected as finalist , that day is one of the most favorite day of my life ,I was soo happy. The contest was in Mumbai and that was my first step towards Mumbai. After the contest I got my first portfolio done in Delhi , sent my photographs to fashion choreographers, model coordinators.Thankfully got great response from everywhere and I did over 450 ramp shows for different designers and print campaign for different national and international brands , became part of many music videos out of which Agli Dafa is most latest one. I took a break from modeling to brush my acting skills for which I joined theatre and performed in many plays like Tughlak, Andho ka hathi , kariya ka ghers and others . I have done small roles in many movies which went un noticed . Got myself settled in Mumbai, though it was very difficult for an outsider to make a mark. Slowly n steadily it was all going good until my father got diagnosed with cancer ,that was the most devastating period of my life where I lost my way and I lost the biggest support and love of my life.
