Kasautii Zindagii Kay actor Cezanne Khan opens about his special someone, set to tie the knot this year
The actor, who shot to fame as the original Anurag Basu in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, has fallen in love with someone who is not only genuine but also knows her way around the kitchen. In fact, he proposed to her post a scrumptious dinner cooked by her. He also shared a picture with her on his birthday (December 28), referring to her as a ‘special someone’.
When FilmyNaka got in touch with the actor, he said, She is someone special and I am dating her for the past three years. She is from Amroha (UP). I am in a happy space with her and looking at tying the knot soon. We had planned to get married by the end of 2020 but postponed it owing to the pandemic. We will tie the knot this year.” Without divulging the girl’s name, he also revealed that he was introduced to her by a common friend.
The Actor Reveals How His Girl Stumped Him
Cezanne revealed that a common friend introduced her to him. He added, "The guy who introduced us was all praise for her culinary skills. Now, I have travelled all around the world and have tasted various cuisines, so I didn't have any expectations. But she stumped a foodie like me with her biryani. Post dinner, I proposed to her and told her I like her and would want to eat the food she makes all my life."
Cezanne Khan, who has been in a relationship with a girl from Amroha for the last three years, plans to get married to her this year. He revealed that they were introduced by a mutual friend and her culinary skills won him over.
Like many couples they were supposed to tie the knot in 2020, but pushed it ahead with the outbreak of COVID-19. He said,
“The caption says it all. She is someone special and I am dating her for the past three years. She is from Amroha (UP). I am in a happy space with her and looking at tying the knot soon. We had planned to get married by the end of 2020 but postponed it owing to the pandemic. We will tie the knot this year.”
The actor revealed they met via a friend, who was all praises for his now ladylove’s cooking skills. “The guy who introduced us was all praise for her culinary skills. In an interview, the 43-year-old shared that they’ve been in a relationship for the past three years and planned to tie the knot last year, but couldn’t due to the pandemic. However, he doesn’t intend to delay it any further, and will certainly marry this year.
“She is from Amroha (Uttar Pradesh). I am in a happy space with her and looking at tying the knot soon,” he said.
"Kasautii Zindagii Kay" ran for seven long years from 2001 and starred Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan and Ronit Roy. Urvashi Dholakia played the main antagonist.
The new chapter of love saga "Kasautii Zindagii Kay" started rolling in 2019. The new version stars Parth Samthaan as Anurag Basu, and actress Erica Fernandes as Prerna Basu.
Besides "Kasautii Zindagii Kay", Khan also featured in shows like 'Ek Ladki Anjaani Si', 'Hum 2 Hain Na', and 'Seeta Aur Geeta'.
Cezanne Praises His Girl
Praising his girl, the actor said that she is simple and fun-loving. He added that she isn't like a typical partner and lets him be. He further added that he was single for a long time and it becomes difficult to allow someone else in personal space, but he feels at ease with her.
Why He Stayed Away From TV For So Long?
When asked about why he stayed away from television for so long, he said that back then there was an influx of reality shows, and he was offered Big Boss several times, but he didn't do it as he felt that the show is not his cup of tea. He was also offered other shows and wanted to be a part of it, but he couldn't as he was travelling.
The Actor Is In Talks For A Project
He said that he has always been waiting for something nice to come his way and revealed that he is in talks for a project. Although, he feels that he might not get the same attention now, he feels that the face value is still there and for that he gives credit to Kasauti and Ekta Kapoor.
