Vikram Swain, who hails from Antarigam in Ganjam district of Odisha, worked as a trainer with Tiger Shroff. He has definitely come a long way from orphanage to a dance and gymnastic trainer. It’s not easy for a nine-year-old orphan, to survive alone in Naxal affected village with his three-year-old brother. From working as a labourer in a garden to training Big Bollywood biggies like Tiger Shroff, Athiya Shetty, Suraj Pancholi etc in Gymnast and dance, Bikram Swain had come a long way.

He has purchased some land in his village & built a home also. He helped his younger brother to be an MBA. His village is affected by Naxalites and it is under developed. In fact, Antarigam got electricity few years back only. Now Bikram is helping his village to be a developed one.

Bikram’s life is not less than a Bollywood story. Being from a very poor family one day he shifted from Odisha to Surat to get some work as his maternal aunt was already there. He learnt embroidery work with a hope to earn more money. He was earning Rs. 1300/- per month there.

He used to keep half money for himself and send the other half to his family. One day someone suggested him that he should go to Mumbai. He came to the city with no money and started hunting for a job. This was in 2009. He worked with a Shop for spakes frames coloring in South Mumbai and in Sundays & other holidays worked as a cleaner, used to wash cars to earn a living.

While working as a car cleaner he became friend with a driver. He used to travel to Juhu every Sunday since it used to be his weekly off. When he went to Juhu beach, he saw some kids doing gymnastics. He watched them and began practicing with them. This became a routine for Bikram on Sundays & festival days. He was a fast learner and got very good at it.

This Odisha boy proved his mettle by bagging himself a massive opportunity as a for dance, gymnastic and action trainer for the celebrated actors, Tiger Shroff, Athiya Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, Sayesha Sehgal and many more.

He hails from a bare 'hand to mouth' family where he has seen the darkest hours of life. When he was 9, he used to work in a park for a meagre amount of Rs 400 as a salary, with which he bought food and milk for his infant brother. Later, he moved to Surat, where he got equipped with the art of embroidery. With a better hope for earning, Vikas moved to Mumbai where he started working as a cleaner.

Once he got extremely fascinated by the kids practicing gymnastic on Juhu beach, since then he joined them for practising and made it a weekend routine for himself. On one such occasions, Vikram swain was spotted by Tiger Shroff and offered him a job role as his personal trainer. Later, Vikram swain also discovered his flair for dance given to the extremely flexible traits!

vikram swain shows it what making dreams happen actually looks like 583027 Luckily, he got spotted as a trainer by many other celebraties and now evolved as a reputed athlete and dance trainer. He got his card as an assistant choreographer and went on to assist the iconic choreographer Ahmed Khan.

Looking Ahead

Vikram has purchased some land in his village and also plans to help in its development. His brother, who is now pursuing an MBA degree, is also lending him hand in this task. “My village is affected by Maoists and it’s under developed. In fact, Antrigam got electricity few years ago only. I and my brother want to do our bit for bettering the lives of the villagers,” he signs off.

Vikram is now an official member of Tiger's team and he is also an assistant choreographer of Ahmed Khan. Recently he has started his journey as an actor with Bollywood movie ‘Munna Michel’.
