Anusheel Chakrabarty Is a National and International Karate Champion turned Actor,born on 23 December 1993 in Port Blair,Andaman Islands India.Anusheel who graduated from Shobhit University,did his education from Blair International School is inspired by Shah Rukh Khan.In January 2020, there was the premier of the music album “Kisi Ki Yaad Mein” at Andheri’s Zee Preview Theater, the album again featured Anusheel Chakrabarty in the lead. This music video is produced by Sanjay Kumar and his mom Advocate Sheela Chakrabarty.

After participating in the IFT,on his return from Tokyo,Japan to Mumbai in April of 2017,he wished to do a Acting Course so he applied for a full time diploma course by giving Audition at Bollywood Actor Anupam Kher’s “Actor Prepares” where he studied and successfully completed the course.He also got to learn a lot from Siddharth Sengar,TV and movie persona,who further enhanced his acting skills.In addition to acting,Anusheel is also a master in Karate.He began training in Karate under his father Shihan Anup Chakraborty,5th Black Belt (South Africa).in the year 2004,just 4 months before tragical Tsunami at the Andaman & Nicobar islands.
Anusheel now holds 2nd Dan (Nidan) Black Belt in International Karate Organization-Kyokushinkaikan under Kancho Shokei Matsui, 8th Dan,4th World Open Karate Champion-1987, 100 Man Fight-1986, (IKO President),he has also attained the 4th Dan recognition from WKF (World Karate Federation).
At the age of 15 in 2008 he took part in his 1st Karate Tournament,where he allowed a 4 wheeler to run over his abdomen and gave memorable demonstrations of his karate abilities.
At the age of 16 he travelled a great distance all the way to United States of America just to attend the World Sabaki Challenge “A Full Contact Karate Tournament” open to all Karate styles and martial arts which annually helds in Denver,Colorado.Being the only representative from India he was significantly appreciated by the organiser for his attendance at his championship.
His greatest achievements are is to win with 1 Gold Medal and 1 Bronze Medal in the 2010 World Cup Karate Tournament held at Cape Town,South Africa,for this on 26th January,2011 he was awarded with the Lieutenant Governor’s Commendation Award,for his wonderful efficiency and excellent performance the field of Karate.
Anusheel won Silver Medal in Kumite (Fight) in the Akshay Kumar (Bollywood Megastar) International Invitational Karate-do Championship held in Mumbai 2011.
In 2012 he participated in the All India Open Kyokushin Karate Tournament,which he gained and have become the youngest national Kyokushin Karate champion ever at the age of only 18 years.In 2014,he organised his 1st Karate Championships,for that he was stated to be the youngest Andaman State Karate Tournament organizer.So far he has been a 3 Times All India Open National Karate Champion (Kyokushin,Ashihara,Byagrah) and 3 times Andaman State Open Karate Champion.
Anusheel also has participated in lots of International Karate championships across the globe and additionally received the chance to represent his motherland India & to get trained in several countries like USA, South Africa, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, China, Bangladesh and so forth. He fought in 15th Asia Open Karate Tournament in Shanghai-2014, International Open Karate Tournament Dhaka-2015 and took part in International Friendship Karate (IFT) Tournament Tokyo-2017 with the Andaman Team,besides that he has also trained at World Headquarters of IKO Kyokushinkaikan (IKO Honbu) ,Mitsumine Camp under Kyokushin World Champions as well as K1 Kickboxing Champion Shihan Francisco Filho in Japan.
Over these years he has gained 13 gold medals,2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals under his belt.
In addition,he organised his 3 consecutive state open karate championships in Port Blair.
In view of his achievements in Full Contact Karate,he’s also referred to as the Karate Icon of Andaman Islands.
